Artist who are also label owners have a unique journey that often requires the perfect team who can cater to both your creative and business needs. Native has found its sweet spot in its partnership with Recording Artist, Casey J and the development of her 2018 body of work.
Casey serves as a songwriter, producer & label for herself in partnership with Tyscot records and came to the table with a very experimental ideas of how she wanted her music to sound and feel. Native was able to take the raw materials Casey envisioned and collectively create a robust plan towards execution. Our Creative Director, Natalie Lauren brought in Jon Webb, now Native Partner to came alongside of Casey to help bring her music vision to life. Native initially provided writing camps, songwriters, musicians, studio for the early stages of creation. We then brought in our live recording team to produce ans engineer a Live Album Recording outside at Casey’s favorite getaway, Serenbe. All 4 hours of this experience were captured by a video crew with Drones and state of the Art equipment. As we prepare to finalize the album and singles to share with the world, Native is currently overseeing the digital marketing and creative direction for her Album scheduled to be released this fall. We are excited to be in partnership with a Artist who has clear vision and is willing to try new things.
